PROGRAM :

The design responds to the Institute’s vision for creating a space without boundaries, while being sensitive to the cultural context of the Latino immigrants and responding to the rich artistic character of the Pilsen neighborhood.
The Design seeks to construct a new 2 story renovation, with an entrance Atrium and a large Multipurpose room that also connects to the existing courtyard. Art work and projections are integrated as part of the façade and serves as an integral backdrop. An Architecture that inspires possibilities,
the materials that translate the urban context of the site, the colors that relate to the vibrancy of the activity inside and the Art that accentuates the building, serve to provide the immigrant community a space that inspires Dignity and Pride in Education.
